I liked this blog alot becuase it interested me. There is alot of different storys and pictures on this blog that caught my attention. This blog was worth reading to me because i liked everyhing that i saw. Family guy is a tv show thats on in tv everyday. The media enertains us with shows like this by making us laugh and making the shows interesting. TV is the biggest way that the media entertains us these days.

5. Advertising things such as cars through the media can tell us everthing that we need to know about the cars and gets us wanting the product as soon as we see it. Advertising tells us in detail about the product. Heres a car commercial from the 70's that has alot of detail.

Weird

4. This is media off an internet page that shows us how weird of people is really out there. And it shows how we get so use to it that after a while we dont even notice when we see somthin like this. Well alot of us don't notice but there's still some that do.

Personal expierience video

3.This video is a source of media from years ago in world war 2 that shows us how the men that was in the war had such a personal expierience that changed there lifes and also changed the lifes of there family members and people that new them. This video shows us how hard it was for the men at war to survive and then come back and live a normal life at home after everything that they saw and went threw at war. Now thats quite the personal expeirience to live with.

Media Influence

2.There is an article on the CBC news website talking about a senior Mountie telling Mp's of his boss's abuse. Raf Souccar, one of the senior mounties, had to raise concerns about commissioner William Elliots managemet style to the federal athorities. Elliot was being verbally abusive as well as arrogant and insulting. This is something that influence what we talk and think about because when we see this we right then have something new to talk about.

1. Hezbollah backs Egypt protests - Middle East - Al Jazeera English This is an atricle that tells us (internationaly) how Sayyed Hassan Nassrallah, the leader of Hezbollah has said that protesters calling from the resignation of Hosni Mubarak, the Egyption presidant, are changing the region with their battle for "Arab dignity"

Media Literacy

I think that the biggest ideas in both of these videos is to tell us how much impact media has on people and the society all around the world. It also tells us how media is one of the biggest sources of information in the world.

Throught this course i would like to learn more about how media works, and i would also like to learn how to make my own media that would help me be more interested and help me out a bit more.
